New Art Talisman Necklaces
Posted on August 15 2015
We are really excited about a new line of Miniature Paintings set in resin to be worn as art!
As some of you may know, my Mom, Judy Hamilton, is the jewelry designer here at the Bead Tree, but she is also an Artist, graduating with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Alberta over 25 years ago. Painting is her true passion & we have always wanted to figure out a way to add her beautiful images to our jewelry line... Well, it might have taken us over 10 years, but it's finally in the works, *Yippee*!
I want to show you her first 2 finished pieces, they are both sold, but there will be more coming soon:
Meet Pearl ~ she is hand painted with the tiniest brushes you can imagine as she is only 2 1/4 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide! She is so beautiful & dusted with Judy's magic including iridescent stripes & gorgeously long eyelashes.
We added a sweet little detail on the end with one of my baby glass beads & a glass pearl, hence her title.
And then there's Peek-A-Boo ~
I do see you! A miniature close up zebra on a 1 inch diameter pendant. Judy signs each original & one-of-a-kind painting with her initials!
So this is just a little sampling of what we're up to. Judy is working on a family of miniature owls & they are absolutely adorable! I can't wait to show you them.

I am interested in a necklace with a zebra. Do you have any available?
In 1995 we purchased a pastel of 2 zebra paintings by Judy Hamilton. We recently moved and unfortunately the glass was damaged. The work does not seem to have been affected but I am wondering if it is advisable to put a protection coat on it. I just love this pastel.
Also, does Judy Hamilton sell any of her works privately. I attempted to obtain a price for the
